Summer Writing Group #3

June 24 – July 29
Fridays from 10:30am – 12pm
(in-person, registration required)

We are beginning a 6 week writing group for those living with grief. Writing is a powerful way to explore your personal journey. The rules of the group will be few. You can write one sentence or many, a poem that you did not know you were writing, an essay, a few notes or more. You can read your work to the group or not, as you wish. Your laptop, a pen and notebook either are fine. You can add drawing to what you write. Or not. The whole idea is to have a safe space to write and share what is going on for you. We also know that a sense of community grows in this creative environment.

Our facilitator David Roche is a published author and an actor on stage and screen for over 30 years. David was just awarded The Order of Canada for "making our country a better place." He will bring this to the writing group. David does not teach. He encourages.

Maximum of 6 participants.
