Nancy has the opportunity to work with everyone at hospice - staff, donors, businesses, board directors and volunteers. She joined the team in January 2022 and her role is focused on fund development and community partnerships, with a focus on fostering and growing strong collaborations and networks needed for Sunshine Coast Hospice to continue supporting end-of-life care on the Coast. Nancy brings 30 years of experience in communications, community engagement and public education. Her work at Hospice aligns with her values and keen interest in actively contributing to a caring and resilient community where everyone feels they belong.

Coast Hospice

Providing compassionate care to individuals facing end-of-life and their families since 1987. Whether at the hospital, in your home, or in one of the four temporary hospice rooms at Silverstone Care Centre, we are here to support you. We also offer programs and services for grief support, bereavement, and advance care planning, with the assistance of trained community volunteers. In partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, we are working towards opening the Coast’s first dedicated residential hospice in 2026.
