Hospice launches new palliative wellness program, The Circle

We are proud to share with you, our caring community, that in November 2021, we’ve launched a brand new palliative wellness program as a new addition to our suite of end-of-life support services on the Sunshine Coast!

The Circle wellness program is specifically designed to be a 'day away' for residents on the Coast living with a terminal illness, and their caregivers. Through The Circle, patients can participate in meaningful activities and make connections with others to support their well-being through their illness.

Each session is approximately 1-1.5 hours in length, and is followed by a complimentary light lunch. The Circle will take place in our newly renovated Hospice House program space in Davis Bay, but for those who cannot attend in person, it's also accessible online via Zoom!

Coast Hospice

Providing compassionate care to individuals facing end-of-life and their families since 1987. Whether at the hospital, in your home, or in one of the four temporary hospice rooms at Silverstone Care Centre, we are here to support you. We also offer programs and services for grief support, bereavement, and advance care planning, with the assistance of trained community volunteers. In partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, we are working towards opening the Coast’s first dedicated residential hospice in 2026.
