David moved to the Coast in 2006, drawn by the quiet lifestyle and beautiful environment.  He retired in 2019 after a senior management career in the high tech and clean energy sectors, having travelled extensively overseeing global operations.  He and his wife now enjoy a much quieter lifestyle - gardening, kayaking, biking and other outdoor activities, and especially spending time with their extended family and grandchildren.

David first became aware of the benefits of Hospice through the passing of his own parents. He is now looking to give back to the local community by ensuring that each of us has access to the best possible hospice care, providing comfort to those at the end of their journey and a sense of understanding for their families to move forward.
