Living With Dying - Screening and Dialogue
One hour documentary film screening plus discussion
An intimate glimpse into the experience of having or caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. Coast residents offer their personal reflections as patients, caregivers and health care professionals, sharing what is important to them, their hopes and concerns, and give insight into how we can navigate this journey. This film is about a deep connection with life.
Come for the screening, stay for the conversation.
Produced by the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society, with funding from the Ananda Fund of the Marin Community Foundation. Free. In-person space is limited: contact the Library to register (604-886-2130). Also accessible live via Zoom, please inquire at the time of registration.
Living With Dying - Screening and Dialogue
This event is an opportunity to share the viewing experience in community and then to engage in conversation. Several of the folks who are in the film will be on hand to participate in the discussion. Admission by donation. We are grateful to the law firm of Flemming and Sombrowski for sponsoring this event.
Guided Meditation for Palliative Care
Learn situation-appropriate meditation techniques to help you tend to physical or emotional pain. All levels of meditators and mindfulness seekers are welcome.
