FRIDAY, SEPT 20 | New hospice to improve end-of-life care for Sunshine Coast residents, update and more announcements to be posted on our new “A Home for Hospice” page

TUE. and THU.: 10:30 a.m. | The Circle Palliative Day Program, for those who are facing a life-limiting illness and their caregiver

FRIDAYS 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. + 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. | Yoga for the Grieving Heart, is a five-week series running from October 11 until November 15 (with no class on Nov. 8)

WEDNESDAY 3:30 to 6 p.m. | Family Grief Group, an eight-week grief support group starting in October.

THURSDAY 5 to 7 p.m. | Traumatic Loss Grief Group, an eight-week grief support group running from Oct 17 until Dec 12

    Join us for these short series where participants are guided to use different form of art to discover and express the emotions brought on by grief. These hands-on therapeutic sessions are facilitated by knowledgeable local artists and therapists who create a safe and supportive environment for sharing.

Since 1987, the Sunshine Coast Hospice caring community has supported people facing life-limiting illness, people in grief, and those who love them, to live lives that are full and meaningful.

We provide a range of free palliative, hospice, grief and loss, and advance care planning programs, and educational resources to Coast residents from Earl’s Cove to Langdale. We also partner with Vancouver Coastal Health to support four hospice rooms at Silverstone Care Centre in Sechelt, BC. 

  • Palliative care aims to help individuals with a terminal illness to live fully and comfortably so they can have the best possible quality of life possible.
